Upcoming events at Church of the Covenant
- This Saturday, November 7: Workday at the Church Building (Lunch Provided)
- Congregational Meeting: Friday evening, November 13, at 6:30 PM to hear and discuss the budget proposed for 2010, and to hear recommendations on changes to the by-laws concerning the dates for the annual congregational meeting and officer elections.
- Thanksgiving Meal: Our fellowship meal in November will not be on the first Sunday; instead, we will have a Thanksgiving-themed dinner on November 22, after worship (Sunday School will be cancelled). After the meal, we will retire to the sanctuary for an informal season of spiritual thanksgiving. We will sing some hymns, read some Scriptures, and have Thanksgiving testimonies and prayers. (This replaces the Thanksgiving Eve service held the last few years.) Bring a dish which reminds you of Thanksgiving, and join us for the feast! Worship at 9:30; Dinner afterwards (around 11:15).

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Do not miss this beautiful service of lessons and carols, the traditional reading of the Bible texts related to the coming of Messiah and singing the great Christmas Carols. We end with the passing of the candle lights and singing Silent Night. Please join us for this Christmas tradition you and your family will appreciate and enjoy. December 24 at 7:00 PM.
